In early November, as the effects of the federal government shutdown and its impact on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) challenged communities across the country, staff and faculty at Washington College banded together to launch a pilot food recovery project providing fresh, prepared meals to anyone on campus facing food insecurity.

Washington College was alive with energy and enthusiasm the last weekend of October as nearly a thousand alumni, students, families, faculty, and staff converged for a vibrant Homecoming and Fall Family Weekend.
From December 1-12, 2025, the Washington College community came together for December Do Good Days, a celebration of generosity, gratitude, and campus spirit.
From Baltimore and Annapolis to Easton and Chestertown, members of the Washington College community gathered over the past few months to host welcome receptions for Interim President Dr. Bryan Matthews ’75 M’86 P’12.
