Coast-to-Coast Toasts

The third annual Coast-to-Coast Toast brought the Washington community together as alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends gathered across the country to raise a glass in celebration of the College. At over 25 locations, from lively gatherings at public venues and neighborhood bars to intimate toasts in private homes, more than 530 people participated.

Maryland once again led the way, hosting 11 toasts, including gatherings in Chestertown, Annapolis, and Salisbury. On campus, current students joined the celebration with their own toast at the Golden Goose Pub, while President Matthews welcomed alumni and friends to a special gathering at the historic Hynson-Ringgold House in downtown Chestertown. Alumni and friends also gathered in cities across the country, including Boston, Denver, Fairfax, Wilmington, West Chester, and Philadelphia.

Thank you to everyone who attended, hosted, and helped make this year’s Coast-to-Coast Toast such a success. We look forward to raising another glass together next year.
